External expert and reviewer for the master thesis „The planning related urban climatology“ by Lamya Zaykah.
The advice of the ongoing Master’s thesis relates to the exploration of urban climate as a means of urban design and architecture. As an external consultant, the focus is on reviewing the author’s preliminary working thesis and theoretical argumentation. The acquired knowledge and findings from the intervention context serve as the basis for a first design proposal. In the further course of the programme, the author is supported by additional findings from urban climate research. Furthermore, the existing profound expertise in architecture and urban planning is used to accompany the student in the process so that the final design meets the high demands of the task.
